KBA Chief Hans-Bernhard Bolza-Schünemann Dead at 84

Former longtime Koenig & Bauer AG president Hans-Bernhard Bolza-Schünemann died July 23. He was 84. Born Bernhard Schünemann, he earned a PhD in mechanical engineering, joined KBA in 1951, rose quickly into the executive ranks and was legally adopted by the great grandson of the company's founder. The executive was known for his technical innovation, expansion of the company, love of music and theater and contributions to his city and region.
