Bean Hands Century Group Reins to Operations Chief Bush

Toebe G. Bush was promoted to succeed owner Gerald A. Bean as president and CEO of Century Group Newspapers, in California. Bean this week announced his retirement from active management. He and his wife, Brenda, will retain ownership. Bush has served as operations vice president for the publisher of the Fontana Herald News and five other community newspapers in San Bernardino and Riverside counties.
